A machine vision system is used
to automatically locate stent features such as strut peak and
valleys A CO2 laser
cuts the covering according to user-settable parameters, including
staight end cuts, end cuts following the stent struts, or
fenestration.
Precision stepper motion system moves the
stent under the camera and laser.
System is controlled by a PC running application
software written in Labview. |
